Frank Kerr, postman, Camlough, Co Armagh, who was abducted in November 1973 by the Provisional IRA whilst making deliveries in South Armagh, N Ireland. His van was robbed and he was held hostage for 4 days.On 10th November 1994 Mr Kerr was shot and later died after he struggled with Provisional IRA members robbing the Royal Mail sorting office in Newry. The incident occured during an IRA ceasefire. The IRA later admitted the raid and killing but denied it was a breach of the ceasefire. 19731123714FK.
