Hundreds of people outside McLaughlin's Bar, Antrim Road, Belfast, N Ireland, following an explosion in which 2 died and 15 were injured. The gas cylinder bomb was planted by the UVF. The incident occured whilst the bar was packed with customers watching the Grand National. Later the same day a retaliation bombing took place at the Mountainview Tavern on the Loyalist Shankill Road in which 5 Protestants died. 5th April 1975. 197504050355a
