The 20th October 1976 funerals of three members of the Provisional IRA who died on 16th October 1976 when the bomb they were planting at Belfast Gasworks exploded prematurely. The three who died were Paul Marlowe, 32 years, Francis Fitzsimmons, 29 years, and Joseph Surgeoner, 24 years. Two of the funerals were stopped by the police until Irish Tricolours were removed from the coffins. 197610200431a
