Francis Rowntree, 11 years, from Lower Clonard Street, Belfast, who was hit in the head by a rubber bullet fired by a British soldier during rioting on 20th April 1972. He died on 23rd April 1972 from his injuries. There was controversy at the time as to whether Francis was actually involved in the rioting and that the rubber bullet had been tampered with to make it more lethal. 1972042230239.<br />
