Brian Shaw, who was abducted and shot by the Provisional IRA in Belfast, N Ireland, on 21st July 1974. The IRA claim that he was caught planting a bomb and under interrogation admitted being in the SAS. From Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, England, UK, he had bought himself out of the army and settled in Belfast. He married a local girl and was just completing his honeymoon when he was abducted.
