William Cooke, Protestant civilian, North Belfast, N Ireland, UK, who was shot dead 19th February 1973 by the UVF, Ulster Volunteer Force, as an alleged informer. His body was found in Wolfhill Quarry not far from his home.  Cooke's body was found in a snowdrift possibly up to 8 days after he was killed. 19730219090.<br />
