William John Staunton, barrister, N Ireland, UK, taken October 1971. He shortly afterwards he became a magistrate.One year later on 11th October 1972  he was seriously injured in a Provisional IRA gun attack. The shooting occured as Mr Staunton was dropping off his two daughters and two of their friends at St Dominic's High School, on the Falls Road in West Belfast. He died from his injuries 15 weeks later on 25th January 1973. 1971100463a<br />
