Provisional IRA activiist, Sean McDermott, 20 years, Belfast, N Ireland, who was shot dead in the home of a reserve policeman where he unwittingly sought refuge following a bungled bomb attack on the Conway Hotel, Dunmurry, on 5th April 1976. His girlfriend, Mairead Farrell, who had been arrested as the bomb was being planted, was jailed for 14 years. In 1988 she was shot dead by the the SAS in Gibraltar. 197604050178 <br />
