Philomena Green, 16 years, from Lurgan, N Ireland, right, who was killed in a booby-trap explosion in a vacant house in Mary Street. She was along with a friend, Joanne O'Hagan, who survived the blast. They entered the  vacant house, which was rented by Joanne's father, when they saw a light on.  Another friend, Nuala Burke, was also with them at the time and suffered horrific facial and sight injuries in the blast.The Provisional IRA admitted they planted the bomb and apologised to the family. They claimed the house was being used by British soldiers as an observation post. 197611270522a.<br />
