Colonel Malcolm Mackenzie-Orr, RAOC, Royal Army Ordnance Corps, demonstrating a Provisional IRA DIY rocket launcher captured in a planned search in Belfast, N Ireland, UK. The weapon was constructed from lavatory pipes and joints as used by plumbers. A few months later Mackenzie-Orr defused a massive van bomb beside a Belfast telephone exchange for which he was awarded the George Cross.
