The coffin of Nicholas White, Nick White, from Ballysillan, Belfast, N Ireland, who was shot by the Provisional IRA 14th March 1976 when he opened the door of the Ardoyne community centre where he worked, is carried from the church following his funeral service. Nick the Brit, as he was  known locally, was a former British soldier who married a local girl. He died the following day in hospital. His funeral service was attended by hundreds from both religeous communities. 197603170156a<br />
