The off-duty nurse, Hilary Ferguson, who rendered emergency medical aid to Jimmy Stewart, Belfast, N Ireland, who lost both legs in the Abercorn Restaurant bombing on 4th March 1972, pictured after her wedding also on 5th October 1974. Two young women died and 130 were injured in the Provisional IRA bombing. A 999 telephone warning was given only two minutes before the blast.  Coincidentally she got married on the same day, 5th October 1974, as Jimmy and even found time on her big day to meet him and wish him & his bride every happiness.
