The first anniversary of Bloody Sunday is marked by family and friends of the deceased placing flowers on their graves in the City Cemetry, Londonderry, N Ireland, UK. Bloody Sunday was the name given to the controversial shooting dead of 13 people by the British Army's Parachute Regiment during a Civil Rights March on 30 January 1972.
