A lone member of the Apprentice Boys of Derry appeals, unsuccessfully, to the line of riot police for his fellow members to be allowed to march along the lower section of the Ormeau Road, Belfast, N Ireland, en route to Londonderry for the annual parade of that organisation held traditionally on the last Saturday of August i.e 31st August 1996. This stretch of road has been a flashpoint since the sectarian murder by the UFF of five Roman Catholics in a betting shop in 1992. 199608310591<br />
